Item #: SCP-1007

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1007 is kept in the center of large porcelain bowl with a steep curve. The bowl itself is made for transport, feeding and removal of waste of SCP-1007, it is lined with steel and braces designed to tip the bowl when needed. The bowl measures 7 meters across and 4 meters deep. While dormant, SCP-1007 should be kept in an enclosed environment atmosphered at 3% humidity or less, between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius. To achieve a maximum state of submission, SCP-1007 is to be "fed" between 50 and 80 Kilos of protein every 4 days.

Clean up of waste is achieved by tilting the bowl using the mechanical platform. SCP-1007 will typically hold to one side of the bowl while waste slides down to the lowest point. A drip torch is used to ignite particulate waste and ash is removed by using blowers.

Description: Commonly known as the "Tar Baby," SCP-1007 appears as a black, adhesive high-viscosity oil. Current research explains SCP-1007 as a colony of fibrous protozoa working together without any true structure, central nervous system or endocrine system, despite observations of cellular coordination.

Item #: SCP-027

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Anomaly is located within the primary research facility of what was known as Site 03. There is no known way to eliminate or transport SCP-027. Current action taken is to quarantine the area from all outside intrusion through concrete barriers, large mine fields (both anti-personnel and anti-vehicle), SAM sites, and patrols of heavily armed, elite troops. Any living or electronic entity that enters the designated quarantine zone is to be destroyed immediately. No personnel, including Class D personnel are permitted within the quarantine zone.

Description: Initial effects on Site 03 were complete deterioration of all local electronic equipment and neurological tissue in an exponential manner. Any electronic connected to the internal network immediately ceased function, giving the error message [DATA EXPUNGED]. The backup systems when they came online also immediately ceased to function. Within an hour of the initial disturbance systems that could be connected to the network but weren't began to show signs of reduced function. By the end of the hour all those machines ceased functioning. At this point all network lock down procedures were initiated to their full extent for both the secondary and primary research facility. How the anomaly spread to humans is unknown, although the primary theory is misuse of SCP-????.

Item #: SCP-054

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures Subject is stored in a watertight underground room. In addition, the walls of the containment area are specially coated with water and corrosion resistant materials. An ornate fountain stands in the center of the room, filled with water. Maintenance personnel are required to wear special non-absorbent clothing while inside the containment area and must spend ten minutes in a special drying room after exiting. In the event of a breach, the surrounding area should be evacuated and cooled to less than 0 degrees Centigrade.

The fountain's chemical levels and volume are to be checked every six hours by female personnel only. If it is necessary to replenish the water in the fountain, only highly filtered spring water taken from [expunged] should be used, as SCP-054 exhibits adverse reaction to impurities. Males are prohibited from entering the containment area, as the subject invariably refuses to manifest in their presence and has been known to attack men.

Item #: SCP-087

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-087 is to be kept in a sealed observation/containment chamber at under 50 degrees Celsius at all times, and to be kept away from all forms of electricity except during controlled and observed tests. In the event that the temperature in the chamber rises to above 50?,or SCP-087 is exposed to electricity outside of experiments, it is to be terminated immediately via incineration.

Description:

SCP-087 is the remains of an entity of unknown origin brought back by the true Viking 1 launched in 1957, that returned in 1959. The entity at first appeared to be an alien life-form, but studies have shown that it is not native to Mars, and not a true life-form - It does not feed or breathe; It seems to be a machine made of biological parts. The entity is silicon-based and apparently runs on "batteries" that are recharged by electricity via contact with its surface area. Analysis of its "brain" have shed some light on its origin, but much remains unknown; It is part of a "system" of similar beings, that are controlled by a "foreman" (studies on SCP-??? have indicated that this refers to ???? ????'s ????????), and is programmed to break down and collect "materials" (it has not yet been determined what this means).

Item #" SCP-710

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-710 is to be kept in a lead envelope in a lead filing cabinet in a lead bunker 200 kilometres from any settlement. This is a temporary solution at best, and ideally SCP-710 should be placed in the Nunuvut Facility.

Description: SCP-710 is a copy of the report on SCP-072 prepared by [NAME REDACTED]. It was amongst the papers the survivors of the Nunuvut Facility recovered before the Facility’s Closure. It was exposed to SCP-072 during the facility’s evacuation, and now shares SCP-072’s properties. An excerpt of the report is reproduced in Document #710-01.
